Pencil Painted Mason Jar

Today Im going to share a fun pencil mason jar! This is perfect for a teachers gift, you can fill with goodies like candy or a gift card! I know teachers love gift cards, you can easily pop a few in the jar with some candy or the like.

I used spray paint from Valspar, Carmel Honey and Krylon Pink Bonnet chalk paint.
I also used this yellow for my Lego head mason jars and a set of fall jars.
A black Sharpie oil pen, glue pen and glitter for the two. Im loving the Sharpie oil pens!
I painted yellow first and they used painters tape to tape off the top so I could paint the rim pink like an eraser.
I ripped the painters tape into pieces so it fit smoothly around the curve of the jar for a nice clean line.
Added little twine tie too.
See its perfect for a batch of colored pencils! 🙂 If you know the teacher uses colored pencils in the classroom… send it filled with a fresh new set for class!
Many teachers spend their own money on supplies for their classroom.
Some spray painting tips if you are a beginner and want to DIY your own pencil jar. 🙂
