St Patrick’s Day Mason Jars and DIY Shamrock Garland

I have some St Patrick’s Day themed mason jars shades of green & gold/ivory and I wanted to update the listing picture for it.

Update: At the time I sold painted mason jars. Now I blog them and sometimes do a special request. I may go back to selling them when I move and have more space…

Ok back to the garland! I did a quick DIY. You know me, the DIY geek!

Some handy dandy thread from the thrift store. I just used a big needle and punched through the shamrocks.

This pack came with… I think 10 shamrocks so you can make a nice length garland. I only used five so it was just big enough for my picture boards.

Bam, quickie garland for my pictures.

They hung nicely and stayed in place but, you may want to tie a knot on each side of the shamrock to keep them in place more permanently for party decor or your yearly decoration you display.

I probably wont use this again so I didnt do the knots, I bought and made this just for the pictures. LOL I have a whole stash of photo props!

Well, I just might use it, I am Irish and I Love St Patrick’s Day. Its quiet a big holiday in Central New York. Its certainly big in Syracuse!

Painting of the shamrock, big parade, Irish dancing, bands, and green beer!

The finished jars and pictures. I just wanted a bit extra in the background.

Little added touch for St Patrick’s Day decor. Do vases or for a party storing straws and silverware.
