Mummy Mason Jars
I came across this fun gauze ribbon at Target. Perfect for a mummy mason jar! 😀
I used and Elite pint and spray painted it black so some would show through. The gauze ribbon on the back says its a cheese cloth so you can cut some into a ribbon strips and use.
I used almost the whole 3 yards so you know how much to cut if you make this size jar. Its about an inch wide.

I painted the jar with Elmers Glue All and then wrapped the gauze ribbon around it. Since it was fraying a bit and the jar is not flat I had to shape it a bit.
Here he is drying.
I painted over all the gauze ribbon with glue to form it to the jar and create a hard coat to protect it. This jar will last forever now! haha.
Gave him some red button eyes.
Ok finished dry jar!
Perfect decor piece or use at a party for straws, silverware or the like.
Ive seen tons of mummy mason jars on Pinterest have you made one? I have some other fall and Halloween mason jars you can check out too. 🙂
