Today Im sharing this cute Ladybug mason jar. Perfect for a ladybug themed birthday party, baby shower or decor vase.

I painted my mason jar red using Vaslpar Radiant Red, my favorite red spray paint!

I go over some colors and spray painting tips in other posts.

I shaped some black pipe cleaners into wings. Then wrapped the jar rim attaching the wings and made squiggle bug antennas. Just wrap it around a pen for the shape.

I used my Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze, its like a shimmery black to give it a bit if glam.

I used the end of a pen with a sponge like tip so you can use on smartphones. My other half brings pens and promo goodies all the time from his job.

I’ll never use it for that so wham bam perfect dot maker! It actually still works on my phone even though its paint covered. LOL. I sprayed a bit of paint onto a piece of tin foil and dabbed the pen to make dots on the jar.

I also made one with a painted black lid and black twine tie.

I made the black spots with a piece of cut sponge.
