How Many Cans of Spray Paint Do I Need to Paint Mason Jars? Pints – Quarts
Im asked this question often via comments or email so Im going to break it down for my crafty peeps out there!

These are averages and will depend on some of the paints. Some you’ll get more out of than others.
Some of the lighter matte shades need more coats and the shiny metallics go further.
Pint sized jars you can do 5-7 jars per can.
Quart jars is 4-6 per can.
Always buy extra and take back if needed. Take it from me, its sucks when you have to go to the store when you are mid project or hitting the finishing stretch… haha.

If my sister’s 15s is a light blue theme; like Cinderella light blue what krylon blue spray paint do you recommend me to use? To spray some mason jars.. I am trying to stick to light blue though nothing darker..
Id go for a Rustoleum light blue, they have many shades of blue. I know Krylon does too but I think Rustoleum has better coverage for most colors. I shop Home Depot and Home Valu for Rustoleum in my area. Hope this helps. 🙂
