DIY Glow in the Dark Mason Jars
Ive seen the glow mason jar tutorials floating around the net. They are calling them galaxy jars or fairy jars.
Of course I had to make some for my nephews! Its going to be one of their Christmas presents. Im making playdough and Minions too! So, I have some posts coming.

They have a black light in their play room so bonus they will always glow! 🙂 I have a step niece too so shes getting the pink one.
I used the 3D fabric glow paint by Tulip.
I just dotted the jars right from the glow fabric paint tube, works perfect for dots or drawing. Its a bit tricky hitting the bottom though for sure! LOL.
This jar I brush dipped and made the dots. Its much easier getting to the bottom of the jars but, as you can see Id have to second coat for the colors to show more…
Glows fine but, the glow paint color doesn’t show as well.
I added a bit of glitter too. I sprinkled it in the jar while it was still wet.
You can so do a project with the kids doing glow jars. The fabric paint works much like a pen. Works better than I thought it would. They can draw fun shapes or what ever they want.
They glow! Woo hoo! Charge with sun, bulbs or black light.
The kids are going to flip for them at Christmas!
Have you made glow in the dark mason jars? Or used the Tulip fabric paint and have some tips?

Make something with one of my tutorials or something you were inspired by/learned here?
Hashtag it on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook! 🙂
Do you paint the inside of the jar or outside?
And does it make a difference?
You could do either but I paint the outside. 🙂
