Candy Cane Martini
I do website/marketing work for a local restaurant and I came up with some Holiday cocktails for them and the Candy Cane is on the list. We wanted to use this particular whiskey.
There are many Candy Cane cocktails all over the net but this is my version using Candy Cane Whiskey made local to me at Lock 1 Distilling Company.
I love the label with the recipe, the gifting part and inside with Candy Canes! How fun is that?!
The Candy Cane drink is selling like hotcakes!
You can substitute any peppermint liquor. Make on the rocks, frozen or chilled. These are from a shaker chilling it with ice and straining into the martini glass.
You can buy The Candy Cane Whiskey online.

You can make this a couple of different ways. The restaurant I do work for doesn’t stock White Chocolate Liqueur so we used a White Chocolate Syrup instead.
You could use White Creme De Cacao. Im going to try it if I can find a small bottle.
I recently had a gathering and used a White Chocolate Liqueur, Mozart. While tasty, I like the syrup version more. Only White Chocolate Liqueur they had. I know there are other brands so you can use what you find local or shop online.
I also had a hard time finding the syrup local to me. Three stores and finally found at Walmart. The last two bottles I found were bought for the restaurant and now sold out!
I did find this Land O Lakes White Chocolate Coco and tried it, it’s yummy too.
I lined my martini glasses with red icing gel to give it a Candy Cane look. I put the glasses in the freezer first for a bit then put them back when I was done icing.
I also tried the Betty Crocker Cookie Icing too but didn’t work as easy like the small icing gel tube. Harder to line the glass. I ended up using the cookie icing spread on a plate to line the rim of the glass since I already had it.
Line your rim with crushed Candy Canes. Use Simple Syrup or frosting like I used. You can make or buy Simple Syrup. Dip glass in the syrup or frosting then into your crushed up candy.
I just smashed up some Candy Canes but Ive seen premade in the grocery store.
At the restaurant its served over the rocks in a stemless wine glass and the syrup is swirled around inside the glass garnished with a Candy Cane.
Candy Cane Martini
- 1 oz Candy Cane Whiskey
- 1 oz White Chocolate Liqueur
- Heavy Cream or Half & Half
You can use milk if you wanted as well. If you use the White Chocolate Syrup add at least a teaspoon full per glass.
If you want to make a batch Id do at least 1.5 oz of alcohol per glass/person. My martini glasses are about 3/4 cup size so Id do about 1/2 cup of cream. Really... Id just wing it to taste and make it on the stronger side! LOL
My parents came for a visit and my mom and I were talking about doing some sort of red swirl so I had to try it. These would be fun for a Holiday gathering.
I did find some red swirl glasses. This set is on Ebay. Also this set.
Hope you enjoy and have a Happy Holiday!
