Candy heart jars. I hand stamped these with stamp ink and added a top coat. Funny how the sayings have changed over the years and include technology sayings like ‘Text Me’. LOL
Added a twine tie. Perfect for decor or fill with goodies like candy. The yellow is Valspar and the pink & purple is Rust-oleum.
I just bought a mini set of letter stamps at the craft store.
Just to let you know using stamps on the jars and paint finishes… be careful the stamp can slip from the ink. It much easier on matte finishes over gloss or satin, less slipping.
I highly recommend when stamping painted mason jars do it with a matte finish paint because of the shape of the mason jar and the ink slipping.
I find the ‘cheapy’ inks work better too, less slipping. You know how many test jars I went through for this stamping project!? ha ha!
This is just red and pink spray painted mason jar set. Spray painting tips post if you want to paint your own jars. Pinks and reds are perfect for Valentine’s Day!
More glitter mason jars for Valentines Day!
This jar I cut hearts out of painters tape then removed after spray painting. Over top I added some glitter so its a fun heart night light.
A hanging wooden glitter heart, I just painted pink, added glitter and glued onto some twine.
