Pallet Jewelry Wall Rack
Ok I do other projects beside mason jars… haha.
Oh yes pallet projects! A pile sitting in my back yard…
Even though I have this pile I still hunt them! LOL I came across this one someone cut in half.
Score!

As you can see the one piece is crooked so I fixed that before I painted and sanded in down a bit with my handy dandy Hitachi sander. I wasnt looking to make it perfect, I wanted the ‘beat up’ look.
Amazon link bomb. 😉
I used a light aqua latex paint watered down so it was more of a wash. Added mini white hooks. You could go a bit fancier with hooks. I went ‘cheap and simple!
Goodness I so missed a spot on my wall when I painted.. sheesh. Oops, my bad. 😉
Ok back on track!
I applied a gray Minwax stain to age it a bit, I wiped on with a rag then buffed a bit so it stained the imperfections and wood grain.
Of course I have mason jars! haha. I have these with rings and earrings for now. Im thinking about adding holes in the middle to sink jars into. Didnt think of it till mounted already haha…
The aqua jar I hung all the dandle earrings. It was a quick and simple project. Just mounted with long enough wood screws to fit through the pallet, drywall, then into the studs.
I dont have much jewelry, I dont wear much, only when I go out but, it was stuck in a pouch I had to pick through. And its one of those things… out of sight out of mind..
Now its my ‘decor’!

I’m in love with the colour of this jar!! Did you do it? How?!
I used one of the aqua jars and used Krylon Mirror finish spray paint inside.
