4th of July Painted Mason Jars

4th of July Painted Mason Jars

Fourth of July is coming, are you going to use some mason jars for decor? I am! ha ha! I made a set this week with some quilted Ball pints. The quilted jars are so cute.

I used Valpsar Radiant Red, Indigo Streamer and White. I used a star stamp with stamp ink. My star stamp came from a set I bought around holiday time.

I stamped the smooth area on the jar where you can place a label, the quilted pints come with some in the box for canning.

The stamping works much better on matte finishes. Glossy type finishes it ‘slips’ more. I also find the ‘cheaper’ stamping inks work better as some of the good ones are thicker I guess you could say..?.. So the stamps slip more.

I did this red, white and blue mason jar with the stamp like above. Added a twine tie on this one.

Hers a set I did a while back, painted red white and blue and added stain to age them.

Fun July 4th decor for a party or your home. I see so many cute flag mason jars on Pinterest! Have you made some flag jars? I just don’t have the patience for those! Ha ha.
